Acapulco, Guerrero, August 1, 2022. About 50 young people who were not on the list of health majors accepted at the Autonomous University of Guerrero (UAG) demonstrate in front of the Faculty of Medicine to demand an audience with the rector José Alfredo Romero Olea.
Young people protest with banners that read: “We want to study nursing”, “We want to study medicine”, “UAG is not for sale”, “We want to study dentistry”.
The leader of the Fight for My Education Movement, Luciano Cruz Morales, said the candidates are unhappy with the results released last Friday and are demanding a hearing with the rector because many of those protesting have high scores.
